Då har jag testat att köra en B+ och en vanlig B på samma batteri (det stora 10400 mAh på m.nu), fulladdat varje gång. Endast nätverkskabel inkopplad.
B klarade 17:38:40
B+ klarade 29:00:07
Man kan ju lugnt säga att B+ är värt ett inköp om man är beroende av att ROC:en ska vara länge i skogen!! Kanske köpa en B+ istället för större batteri om man ligger på gränsen på batteritid…
Återkommer med test med B och B+ med 4g-modem istället för nätverkskabel.

those are quite impressive improvements of runtime for the RPi B+.
For the brave people, it is possible to replace the voltage regulator that reduces 5V to 3.3V (RG2) with a more efficient one (switching instead of linear). See http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=12387 for example. I have done this on one of my RPis, and did see small improvements in runtime, but certainly not as big as your B -> B+ tests.
One thing to remember with the B+ is: it can NOT be ”back-powered” any more. So if anybody has a ROC setup where the power is being sent into the RPi using one of the USB device ports, this will not work on a B+. (What does work is powering through the GPIO pins, but they are not fused, so no protection!)
